What is Starpoint?

Starpoint is...

a convention designed for youth by youth. It is organized every second year for youth people between the ages of 16 and 30. More than 2500 participants come from across the Carpathian Basin and around the world to join in community. Five hundred volunteers work to create an exciting festival for young believers to come together and discuss different issues that they face in today’s society. Each event is held in a different location to allow presbyteries from around the Carpathian Basin the opportunity to host and encourage youth from different areas to participate. Starpoint has several activities geared toward young adults including music concerts, seminars, small-group discussions and informal time for fellowship with new friends. At Starpoint countless new friendships and acquaintances have been made over the years between youth participating from the most diverse regions of the country and many young people have found new meaning and vision for their lives at this event. In the evenings you can get to know the local folk culture, folk music/dance and the culinary traditions of the region.
